i just had it with OE! i uninstalled it last nite. i need a good replacement software for it, actually im lookin for the best. i heard the Bat! was good but i cant configure it with hotmail, sme ppl say that foxmail is good. which 1 should i go for?

MOZILLA THUNDERBIRD is great, although it won't access hotmail. Probably be a good idea to ditch hotmail anyway. Check out fastmail for a good free email service.

I've been using Outlook from Office 2003 Professional for quite a while now and have never had any viruses come through my Email, or even any spam email or advertisements
I guess it depends on who you give your address too, just don't sign up for mailing lists and such

Wrong.
Not every email-borne virus is targeted at Outlook or OE, only those that exploit security inadequacies in it; in almost every case these viruses can be avoided by simply changing security settings. Outlook 2003 is much safer than 2000 and also by default doesn't display web-based graphics in emails as a spam prevention measure.
In fact, of the clients I've tried, I'd recommend Outlook 2003 for those that want hotmail/msn.com functionality, although I haven't tried Foxmail but hear it's very good.

Yep Outlook 2003 works very well for me, and I get 40 pieces of Junk a day and have had no problems yet...

simple answer here is dont use any mail software that downloads anything to your comp, even your emails , use an online email web browser and divert your isp emails to it , safest and best way mate
