You should check out Don Coscarelli's phantasm . The first is my all-time favorite horror. I seen it about 10 times as a kid, never scarred me. Its a great horror flick check it out. Also you might wanna check out friday the 13th parts 1,2,3,4, 6 and 7.

Have to say that the remake scene is hotting up and producing some dire attempts at cinema. I mean everyones entitled to their opinion, however i believe that you can't improve on an excellent film so why bother? Why remake tcm or the ring? The originals are amazing movies. Why not remake some piece of crap horror like thirteen ghosts? So many 'horrors' are being pumped out by the big companies and getting a low classification just so they can fill up the cinema and generate more revenue for the company. Sorry i just hate this money grubbing film industry. Film makers rule, the companies that fund them and the rogue directors who can't seem to stop selling out just agravate me so much.
