Do Most Torrents Slow Down Near The End?

I'm downloading a Dreamcast Game, 400 megs, it was going at around 20kb/s last night and I thought it would be done when I woke up this morning, however, it's on 90.6% and stuck! Downloading at 0kb/s and somethings going up to 1 for a few minutes.

9 Peers, 6 Seeds... Anyone know why?

btw, do Seeds count as Peers? so 9 peers is 6 seeds and 3 people downloading?

Peers = Getters (leechers)
Seeds = 100%ers

If you have no joy after 10 mins or so (what I do) close the file down give it say 10mins then restart it again this gives a new group to which it may be easier to finish with.
WARNING:
I have had a problem (about 4 times only) where I could'nt get going again because the tracker went down so I was only getting what I could in the group (just like you at the moment).
And I have downed some gear 4x's isn't bad.

Still theres no rush its free plus your upping your share while finishing

I can wait 8 hours for this to finish, got plenty of other games to play
