my cd/dvd combo drive lock at region 1, but i leave in region 3, unable to play Region 3 disc. Someone pls help. Thks

I just got a new liteon dvd burner so i've been doing some forum hopping..Did you realize your sony is a rebadged liteon(not sure but there may be some differences)..Well here is a solution you could try(read well use at own risk) possible fix..the ****LtnRPC **** seems like it is your best bet good luck ...just ran the tool (LtnRPC) it read both my liteon drives no problem .But i didn't reset any of them I only use region 1
