For power supply get atleast 400watts, and has to be brand name else it will be crap. Enermax, Thermal Take, Zalman, Antec are all good. A few other good ones but these are the majors.

I wouldn't buy a DVD-ROM and DVD burner...waste IMO. Better to just make an image then burn it instead of doing on-the-fly.

Make sure you get a few case fans as well.

Rest looks good though. Nice mouse and keyboard. B)

I figured I'd buy a powersupply that fits as well as casefans when i bought the case at that store. Alot of the cases I look at look to gaudy to me. This one comes close to my gaudyness limit in the front, but the sidepanel does look good in the dark (saw a picture at a review site). It got great reviews, and its cheap. It also has a removable motherboard tray.... but I'm sure I could do better if I looked more, but I spent a few hours looking.

Power supply i wouldn't buy in teh shop. Might not have a very good selection. Probably a lot of shitty ones and one or two overpriced good ones.
Just buy the power supply from newegg.

As for the LCD, you might want to get Samsung's 710T - the difference between them, is that the 710T is using a DVI whilst the 710N uses an Analog input.Colours will look nicer, and there will be less ghosting with a Dvi.I've read many good things about the 710T from gamers, but the 710N should be just as good.

Will it actually be noticeably different? Or is it one of those things like rca to svideo video...i saw no difference in that switch for my dvd player.
