i bet that thing will run so slow with two users connected though...

seems pointless to me...you still gotta have two monitors, two keyboard, mice, and they have to all be right beside eachother...better to just have a second computer.

lol, and a 30ft keyboard wire, and 30ft monitor...plus you might want an on\off switch, extend that 30ft, and speakers...30ft, a usb external cd drive, 30ft usb cable, floppy...

    Something for little kids maybe.

Learning software and simple kid's games aren't that demanding, so maybe someone with a couple of wee ones could let them use this.

Or maybe it's good for school or libraries or something, I dunno', two people per pc cuts prizes, and it's prolly quite enough as long as they just surf or so. Could use it for the library catalog if they have an online one.

Can't see it as being any good for a <s>serious user</s> the average user at home, or at least this forum tho'. What with gaming and everything

This product was specifically designed for use by Siamese twins.

Very thoughtful of them to cater to such a specialized market, don't you think?

Having more than one person logged on to XP is actually well documented. Matching that to separate pieces of hardware on the same PC is the trick. It isn't new, but this implementation could be the key to successful use.

If licensing is the only problem with many of the software packages, then Corporate versions should not have any problems.

In an office situation, where people are running fairly low powered apps like Word, I can see great advantages with having two people using one computer, in terms of cost, desk/floor space and heat.

Considering this sort of activity is probably the majority of "serious" use, I can well see this taking off in quite a big way, if it gets sufficient exposure.
