    If it was really bad, it's prolly easier just to have him back up his files & reinstall windows.

    my sister had something similar happen to her when she clicked someones away message in AOL instant messenger. If that sounds like something you would have done then try to run AIMfix http://www.jayloden.com/AIMFix.exe it would get rid of it, and it tells you if u have one or not so might as well.

    Ok, so my friend scanned a few times and removed all viruses, and still no dice.
