Need Help

Hi. I was wondering if you guys could help me. I downloaded The Punisher awhile ago in video form and it ran fine. Recently, I downloaded a standup comedy bit that claimed to be in video form yet when I downloaded it, it played in audio, but in theatre it just played the ripple effect seen in WMA. I tried downloading codecs for it, mscoomctl.ocx and other files yet the video will not play in the theatre or on the AVI preview. Could someone please help?
