can your motherboard support 8x video cards? if so then it may be your video card can only run at 4x speed, if ya want to be able to use full 8x support of your mobo then you might have to upgrade your video card

In order to run at 8x, you have to have

A graphics card that can run at 8X, and

A board that will support 8X.

If you have both of these and it is still not running at 8X then go to

Display properties>settings>advanced. It should have a place in there where you can select 8X or 4X.

I think ur Mother board is fine if ur little system specs pic is tellin the truth...the problem is ur G card...its a freaking 4200..and I dont mean to sound "snotty" but that seems like an outdated card and the 128 MB RAM it has onboard is just a final "breath" to those types of card.

anyway his "snotty" card can run far cry pretty good. (med settings 1024 x 768 or was it 1024 x 1280...? I think it was the first one)
