Hey Guys,
I have the Linksys BEFSR81 Router. I ran the setup on the CD and I am able to access the internet but when I go to My Network Places to check and see if the other computer is there, it is not. I am currently unable to share files and the printer.
I changed the network protocol and changed some of the services settings in accordance with MS Internet Connection Firewall troubleshoot guide. Still no luck.

Make sure they are on the same workgroup, have different computer names, and sometimes having the same login and password helps.
What operating systems are each using?

first make sure both computers are on the same workgroup
if both are windows xp use the network wizard and when it asks about workgroup name make sure they are both the same
also set both computer to the second option in the wizard , eg this computer connects through a gateway
once you have done this you should be able to see both comps online , as the router will assign them the same ip range
dont forget to share each drive on each computer by right clicking on each drive and choose sharing ect
hope that helps
