Download To Dvd!

Hi,

I download movies like .avi files and recently an .dat file. I have a DVD rw i havent got a clue what i am doing and i know everyone asks but if someone could just tell me because i have been trying to ages!

you need to convert them to mpg then you can watch them on your DVD player

how can u do that without turning usign tmpeg?

i cant use that i dont know why it just never does it with sound
