Thread: Recording/transcribing A Interview

    I did a interview at school and here is my question, i have a digital recorder and i want a program that will record and write down what is said , when i plug it up to my comp also maybe a program to act as like a media player that will stop, pause, fastfoward, rewind, etc.., so i want have mess with the recorder, the recorder will be pluged up to my speakers and sound will come out of them if it helps.

    if u plug the recorder into your speakers you aren't ognna have any control at ALL with teh computer.

    with it plugged in for sound ur not gonna be able to control the play, stop, pause, etc.

    but still not sure about recording it into words though.

    has normal 3.5mm jack right? (headphone jack).

    get a male 3.5mm-to-male 3.5mm plug\wire and hook up the recorder to your soundcard's line in jack.
