How To Store More Than 700mb?

Hi, It´s me again,
some of you might have seen
my post about buying a
DivX Player (in Hardware topics)...

Ok, but if I do that, how will I get, lets say,
my 800MB movie into a CD,
I mean, is there a bigger CD?
does it exist?
or I have to use a DVD and store the movie as
data?
If not, how will I play my Downloaded DVD Rips
that are usualy bigger than 700MB?

there are 800mb discs. not all burners can burn on them though. im not sure but there may be 900mb discs. (anything is possible)

dvd's can hold 4.6gb for regular ones and like 9 or 10 for dual layer ones. might wanna invest n a dvd burner.

Yep they are priced so good right now too. Makes one wonder whats on the horizon .

Ok, I have a ¨LG DVD ROM 16xDVD CDRewritable48x24x48x¨,
do you think I can burn on a 800MG CD?
and, can I use a CD to burn DivX movies on it and watch
them in a DVD/DivX Player?
or do I have to use a DVD Disc?

what possible could you have downloaded that requires it
I am quite certain you are talking about bin/cue or a kvcd and don&#39;t have a good understanding on mbs and MB&#39;s
you can&#39;t download movies that don&#39;t fit on normal cdr, thats why its the standard

One Upon A Time In 717,172 Kb

So, what do you think?
I think all of them are DVD Rips,
encoded on Divx, or something like it.
And about my understanding of this stuff,
you are right, Im not too experienced.
but I´d apreciate any help...

if there bin/cue files you can burn then as image, image file always look alot bigger. However if there not bin/cue file u can use overburn, or if you dont want to burn them you can get video lan to play them on your computer

folllow it to the tee, put it on 99min&#39;s just to be sure
you shouldn&#39;t have to use any special disc&#39;s

I guess you can try burning the CD with Xcd


But beware.. All error correction is gone to that cd...
