Does ram make much difference on grpahics cards.

I see the FX 5700 128MB Ultra is better than the FX 5700 256MB mainly cos of clock speeds and stuff.

So what does RAM do on a GFX if u have alot of PC RAM does this compensate

No games even need to use nearly 256 so it would be pointless to spend all the extra money. But all the guides Ive seen show the 128 does better then 256.

actually 256mb is starting to be used in games. Doom III uses up to 512mb of video card ram, sadly no cards have that much. So 256mb cards are actually better then 128mb cards right now...
Gaint Antispyware is the #1 greatest Spyware/Adware cleaner ever created, I recomend it to everybody, even if you don't think you need it.

keep in mind that when a company makes a card with 256mb of memory, they tend to use low quality, slower memory as well.
They use higher quality memory in the 128mb versions usually.
