Changing Title Of A Thread

If the time restriction applies to the title/description too, I can't see any reason for not implementing a time restriction for all edits, maybe 30 minutes? If someone can't get it right in that time they probably never will.

what if someone points out that u made a mistake, like BIG mistake, and u want to make sure that the topic starter doesn't follow this bad advice?

i think it's all great how it is now except for titles...


rperry and guitar slinger, thanks i have PM'ed someone once to change the title, a few times i reported it, but now i just leave an edit at the bottom asking for it to be changed when a mod has the chance. Still think it should be enabled though.

If someone it that interested in the reply they will probably already have seen it after 30 mins. Otherwise you can always add another reply, and if someone points out your mistake they will usually post a correction themselves.

However, I agree it should be enabled.

PM a mod and they change it.

I have done this at least 3 times in the past and it works perfectly.

According members with this feature can easily lead to abuse.

I remember IKE changing one for me. He&#39;s pretty good at administrative stuff like that.
