which driver yields the best performance?

for example, look in my sig, there's a link to a aquamark bench. that was using the ati driver. i have a new bench

45581
notice my gpu: 422 / 378 MHz
but if i look at the one in my sig, it's higher than this one, but the gpu's core is only 412. and everything else is the same. the only difference is that the higher bench one was running off an ati driver, while this new one is the newest omega.
wat does this mean? wat's the best driver for getting high fps and benches?

I find that the Omega Drivers work best for me, increased my Aquamark score by about 500 points

i use the cats 4.7. i tried the omega's 4.7 and no diff and my buddy got blurred colors. so, i'll stick with the 4.7. 200 pts increase from 4.6 to 4.7.
