sounds like a hardware problem your drive may be on the way out possibly just bad discs have you tried the ahead website or googling for the error quite often thats quicker than typing a message without any punctuation whic makes it difficult to read and waiting for an answer that might take hours you could have the answer in seconds ansteadOriginally posted by darealfalco2003@24 July 2004 - 15:51

There isn't a bargepole long enough for me to work on [a Sony Viao] - clocker 2008
1) Make sure you have working Adaptec ASPI drivers.
2) Update your burner's firmware to the latest version.
3) Use better cd/dvd media. Cheap ones are often pure crap.
