Thread: Viewing Music Files On Cd

  1. #1
I bought a CD and when i right click and go to explore I see no music files there.

i tried holding shift when putting the CD in and the CD did not automatically run, but I still couldn't see the music files.

How do I see the music files on the CD?

It sound like you have audio/data CD.

You can use CDex to copy the tracks to your computer. (and "see" the tracks)

    yes, its a music CD.

Is it necessary to use software?

I can see the video files that came on the cd, just not the music files

your link doesnt work by the way.

The cd you have is not a pure audio cd so you will need some sort of audio cd "ripper" to "see" the audio tracks.

If you just want to play it you can just start your fav cd player and just play it.

    The page is down.

check out the pin topics in musicworld , they are some topic on this..

Yes, it is a mix of audio/data. (Data CD with Audio tracks). Your cd player will ignore the data part of you audio Cd.

The music industry calls them “enhanced CD”.
