Hi, as many of you might know,
    I have a DivX player (DVR642)...
    I´ve been watching some movies,
    and everithing looks good,
    untill today...
I downloaded aDVDRip, then burn it
in to a CD, (I just use the option given
by WindowsXp, not a burning program)
and when I play it, sudently, the audio goes first
    and the video behind...
What I mean is that you hear the Audio
before the people are even talking.

Please, can anyone tell me what this is,
or if It has happen to you,
    what did you do?
    Thank you.

No I don't think you quite understand the issue he has a stand alone dvd player that plays xvids divx etc and I really mean etc...He's complaining the file does not play correctly in the dvd player.I was just trying to figure if it was just his choice of files that he downloaded.(kazza files are infamous for frozen frames)If he puts a bad file in the dvd player what can you expect miracles...

ACCAT, Not very helpful my Friend,
but yes, you do understand what I mean,
and, yea, I know the file is corrupted,
    I just figured that out.

Still, do you think I can do something
about it, cus, It took me a ¨few¨ hours
    to download them.

Well first off I'm trying to help...But I had to make some assumptions with your original post mpeg, avi.svcd, vcd dvd,vob,dat..I think the player plays most of these file types...you didn't specify which it is I'm guessing avi(xvid or divx)...now on to the help I hope look here VIDEOHELP.COM guide to fixing bad frames without losing audio...Now the best plan with such a nice dvd player would be to find nice files for it.May i suggest BT or IRC..BT is alot easier to use there is a section of the forum on it ...And I think its really rare to get a corruption problem in BT(BITTORRENT)...When you have mastered BT have a try at IRC its very different.....sorry for the use of caps in this thread but i'm getting kinda tired and

Told you so I too have a home divx player had it for 11 months and have just sent off for a new one, wonderful piece of kit these.
Little tip if you have small avi's and mpeg's cut all as data to one disc no need to convert the mpeg to an (s)vcd even works with dvd's burn as many as you can to fill the disc up, nice.
