Spiderman 2 Codec Needed Help Please

i downloaded freom emule this movie
SpiderMan.2.SVCD.TELESYNC-VideoCD.XviD.Re-Enc.WeBsEcReTa.avi
and it worked fine, but i did a system roll back and i can't get it to work now, have tried tons of codecs
please help thanks

try videolan...

download it from videolan.org and see if it can play the file...

you can also try to install the codec pack from this site...

videolan is a media player... just like the player you used to watch the movie before the rollback...

tthanks i'm downloading video lan now,
and i've already tried the kazaa lite video pack
this is so weird, whatever codecs i had on here before worked fine, just can;t seem to find the right ones

cool it plays in video lan great gtrea quality, but i'm confussed before it palyed in media player win amo all my players now it only plays in video lan,
am i going to be able to burn this to cd without propper codec installed

the codecs won't mess up your copy of the movie....

the codecs are used to play the movie in your pc.... if your friend has his codecs correctly installed in his pc, the movie will play fine, if you or him want to play the movie in a dvd player (has to be able to read vcd and svcd) it will play fine....

i recently messed up the codecs in my pc... big pain in the ass... too bad i can't remember how i fixed it.... try reinstalling all your media players... like windows media player, real player... it might help...

The codec you need is Xvid, it tells you that in the name of the file.

SpiderMan.2.SVCD.TELESYNC-VideoCD.XviD.Re-Enc.WeBsEcReTa.avi

EDIT: It also has the names of other formats in the name, but if it has a .AVI extension it won't be an SVCD or VCD as they are mpeg formats, so it has to be an Xvid (which is an AVI).
