Doom 3 Download

Hi forum,

I DL'd doom 3 cd's (1 ,2 and 3) from Kazaa..........I went to "unrar" files and it said that they are either damaged or an unknown format.

Im bummed

maybe I got some "fake" files (go figure from Kazaa)

Could someone give me a clue on what the "real" file sizes are ????????

This I think would help me sort thru the endless "fakes" on FT network.

PLEASE............................I MUST HAVE THIS GAME!

Your problem might be KaZaa...

Get eMule and check out the Verified Hashes section...

Bittorrent is the best solution (after newsgroups) to get new stuff.

First go here ad get BitTornado.
Then go hereand get GoSupernova
Then open up GoSupernova and update all the categories.
Then go to Games section and search for Doom 3
Sort them by seeds and get the first one (DOOM.3-RELOADED + KEYGEN + Manual + Cheats)

Why did u download from Kazaa everything on their corrupt becuase of the way it downloads FOOL

Yep, BT is the way to go. No wonder it doesn't work with the kazaa ones.

On another note, how about starting to use the pinned doom 3 thread again, ppl.

Thanx for the tip.............I did what you suggested...............to both links...............I am DL'ing DOOM.3-RELOADED + KEYGEN + Manual + Cheats right now...................My share rating is horrible( .800 or so )......I dont know if it matters or not...Does it??? if it does........can I better my DL speed.............I am saving the file to my "shared" folder from Kazaa........Obviously Im new to the BT thing.........But so far I like it alot. any other tips you have for a better BT experiance would be much appreciated.

No problem. I like turning people on to better file sharing programs.

Im just wondering, do you know what speed internet you have? Just want to get a picture of how fast you can upload/download. I usually turn the settings to Dial-up/ISDN and the speed will go up. Then I seed after it finishes.

You should also check to see if you have router or any firewall software. They will kill your bt connection and not let you share files. If you have a router, you will have to forward ports.

If you are running windows xp, make sure you turn off the built in firewall. Start > Control Panel > Network Connection > Right-click properties > Advanced > uncheck

I got a good DSL connection...........and my firewall IS disabled. my BT dL rate is about 22-28 kB/s.........my UL rate is about the same.........the file download is moving right along( thank goodness) I was just wondering what "par" is for this program?

That really depends on what speed internet you have. I can easily get over 400 kB/s while other users max out at around 25.

ok.....I guess Ididn t answer the question............My internet throughput speed is
Download = 1.271 Mbps
Upload = 213.33 kbps

is this good??
