How Come it's easier to get a cold when it's cold?

I mean bacteria and viruses like when it's warm and snuggly.

So Why do you get colds easier when you've gotten cold?

Is your body more vulnerable when you've gotten cold, is it because your metabolism gets slowed down, or does it have to do with tissue getting damaged by the cold, or what?

Because we all huddle together in our centrally heated buildings where the bugs have a veritable nirvana of a habitat.
During the warm seasons we all go out in the "fresh" air or have windows open that refresh the indoors air.

it’s an election with no Democrats, in one of the whitest states in the union, where rich candidates pay $35 for your votes. Or, as Republicans call it, their vision for the future.

Now that sounds more like it.

But I also know that you get ill more easily when you have gotten cold, by not wearing enough clothes and that, outside. Not wearing something warm around your neck a warm winter day is usually a sure way to getting a sore throat and a runny nose the next day.

It can't only be the huddling up.

I'm glad you resisted the urge to describe snny as snuggly as well

If you get too cold you lower your bodies natural defenses which makes you more suseptable to any bugs attack.... just getting cold doesn't give you a cold, you need to catch the germ to do that.

Yes but why does it lower your defenses?

Is it because it slows down your metabolism, or does it hurt your membranes just a little so you have to heal and fend off the viruses/bacteria at the same time or what?
