Can everyone just state what modem they're using and whether it is for ADSL/DSL/Cable etc...
Let me know if you've had any problems with it etc...
Cheers,

Just received this from Netgear...
"What problem are you having?
With regards to the P2P issue, this is resolved by limiting the number of
connection's on the app to 15.
regards,"
What a joke. I've just emailed them back this...
"I'm not using any P2P applications. Firstly, the modem drops connection on a regular basis when normal browsing. Also, when using Ventrilo (VoIP) client, it's almost impossible to keep a stable connection. There is no way to limit the number of connections on this client, and had I known this at the time of purchase, I would not have gone ahead with it.
Either there is a fix out at present, or I want to return my device back to the company I purchased it from, in which case I need a 'Return Materials Authorisation' (RMA) number.
Regards,"

it also defeats the point of broadband if you have to limit the # connections to 15 - that means it aint an ADSL modem/router - its just a doorstop!
