Ok my friend has bought doom3, he can't connect to my server, i can't connect to his, he is using the private server crack, any way to make this work?

Yes the game works on cards lower than geforce fx 5200s so yup
Lowest supported ATI: Radeon 8500
Lowest supported Nvidia: Geforce 3 64mb

Use FRAPS , it shows your FPS and you can take screenthots and record your gameplay with it.
