im trying to make some dvds to play on my dvd player but i cant get any of them to work in TMPGEnc DVD Author. everytime i try to load one in it, it says that the GOP is too long. all my videos have been .bin files and are SVCD, so i use isobuster to extract the mpeg, but the mpeg wont go into TMPGEnc DVD Author wihtout it giving me the GOP is to long error. do i need to encode the mpeg files somehow? they should already be mpegs becuz they are SVCDs. any other method i can try or can i only watch them on my computer?

hey, you could try using "winAvi" and first turn the mpeg into an avi. then after that is done turn the avi into dvd format. its real easy to do. i know that sounds like alot to do, but it would take less than an hour and its worth a try to see if it will work.

tried using winAvi and it said to convert it from mpeg to avi using the Xvid format/codec would take like 5 hours. anyone have a guide how to convert from mpeg/svcd to avi?
