    or actually, prolly delete the first line..cuz I dunno what all that extra switches is.

    The extra switches are nothing. It's basically added on SP2 and doesn't really do anything. Here, I'll give you a safer way to delete them (with detailed instructions).

    1. Press Start
    2. Press Run
    3. Type in the input box msconfig
    4. A new screen will pop up. Go to the tab entitled boot.ini
    5. This is where you can add, delete and modify switches.
    6. Delete one of the two lines by highlighting on one of them and selecting DELETE.

    I hope you guys don't make fun of me because I put butt.ini

    There is no Option for deleting it in Msconfig

    he is quite correct in his post, at least in win xp. oh, and you not deleting anything with an option to do so, just editing your butt.ini file

    i think from now on, whenever this question pops up again, we just tell them to go edit their butt file, ............................ok, sorry, but i like it now.

    ohh and about removing the lines from the Msconfig, Higlight the lines and click on "Check paths" then a msg apears askin u to remove the incorrect line... click yes and restart.
