a friend of mine has a Packard Bell comp, and it seriously needs a reformat......

trouble is, it doesnt come with a driver package for the mobo

does anyone know the link for that site where you can download drivers for just about any mobo???

or just know where i can get the drivers for it
    mobo:
MS-6511 (a.k.a. Packard Bell Explorer 683767xxxx (only suitable for socket 462 Duron processors)
    based on the VIA KM133-chipset

and no, the PB site is total CRAP
great FTP site for awesome quality video clips

you don't need any specific motherboard drivers for it to work.
    windows will work fine.

if u want though after installation u can go to www.viaarena.com and download the latest chipset drivers.

i'd be worried about finding the sound, and video drivers first.

after you get it up and running, get a program called Aida32. it will tell you loads of info on the board, onboard audio, PCI/AGP. you name it, it will tell you all about it. if you cant find the program, i have it on my site. at least that will get you in the right direction for drivers and such.

He will need drivers for the mobo if it has built in video and sound, but you can find drivers at Driver Guide and use Drivers for user and all for password.
