Thread: Norton Ghost 9 Problem

    I cannot seem to back up files like avi and pictures that I want, I do not a full hard drive copy only too choose what to back up but this only seems to do a FULL system backup which I do not need, any help on this? thanks

    Ghost takes an Image out of the Harddrive/Partition,
    if you dont need that dont use it because thats what its for, exactly.
    Im not 100% sure but I think one could use the Ghost Explorer and add files to
    the image-file later on, if needed. Never have tried that one thought...
    I make an Image usually right after installing Windows + latest drivers.

    I would burn the Pics/Videos to DVD/CD with Nero.

    Yes just to backup a couple movies i wouldn't use ghost just burn them to cd-rs or cd-rws.

    Oh I thought op had real problems with NG. Cause I can relate with that. That's why I use Acronis MigrateEasy.

    norton ghost doesnt have any option to add or remove files from backup job but it should have cuz i dont need to backup games or shared file so i always unistall or move them to somewhere before i take a backup
