Thread: My hard drive keeps restarting itself

  1. #1
For some reason my hard drive keeps well what I can work out restarting, I keep hearing a clicking noise as it it's just stoped then started spinning again.
It used to happen about once a day but i'm hearing it as much as once an hour now.
Does anyone know why this could be?

Gee where do you start , with that little info? Harddrive failing? Try chkdsk or scandisk depending on your Operating System .

The hard drive is on it's way out. Back up everything important you have on it and get another.
if your font size is this small i'll add you to my ignore list because you're wasting my time, OK?
