How do I make a website?

The guide's got a few suggestions on where to sign up for some free webspace. Might be worth checking if you get free webspace with your ISP account as well.

How would I check if my ISP gives me free webspace? Would it be better then a normal free webspace? I have Comcast internet if that helps.

It'd save you the trouble of signing up for webspace if you've already got it with your ISP. Go to their website and see if they've got some kind of hokey site builder or something.

If not, just sign up to one of the places in the guide.

find a template to get you started, then open it with dreamweaver, then u can change teh text and pictures easily.

christ man - dont worry about the url till you got something to send the url to.

try reading this: http://www.w3schools.com/site/default.asp

then see where you are at. it tells you all the basics of what tags are etc.

then go to http://www.freewebtemplates.com/ ( i googled website template) and find one you like....modify it till its how you want it.

then find a host to upload to

upload it, then get your url. you can only have alphanumerics in the url (and no spaces) so it cant be anything fancy like you wanted
