Hey i recently got an ADSL 1.5/256 Package it meant to be at least 500-900kb/s when downloading from a local server, i'm getting 50-90 speeds?

shouldn't i be getting faster speeds?

You would be getting an average of about 150kb/s maybe a little more.

    500kb/s would be like a 5mbps connection...

go to www.dslreports.com and run a speed test to see what kind of speeds you're getting. take a screenshot of that and post it.

If your connection only just go hooked up then chances are that your ISP/Cable Companys regulating software hasnt kicked in yet and regulated your allocated bandwith....

Make the most of it while you can as it happened to me once before, and I downloaded as much as I could during the 24/48 hours that I had no cap on my line
