everytime i start new azureus, CHECKING processing automatically starts for each torrent, which takes quite long time for DVD-Rs and also it eats alot of resources of the system, old azureus never done that. is there anyway that i can solve this problem or do i need to try another clinent (i like az thought).

See if u checked the "Use fast Resume" in option, it should be checkd.
Also check if u enabled "Force re-check" by defualt.
