That's correct, I made a topic about it in the lounge, Only admins/mods can have bigger avatars atm, because I wanna test if it would make a difference if members would be allowed to have an avatar that is max 100x100 instead of 80x80.

if we would allow bigger avatars in size then more people will start using oversized avatars in filesize so that would be the only problem also I think 150 is 2 big the max would be 100

Most avatars are stuff people ahve seen on the weba nd are much bigger and the forum resizes them but keeps the same file size anyway.

nope, I used the Members List which shows 40 members @ the same time with their avatars.

100 square is perfect I think, 150 would look hidious, my sig is 150 high, if you had that square at the side the board would be all pictures
Nah, 100 x 100 is fine, I would'nt think there would be any problems as long as the file size is kept down, having said that it could be made that we upload our own, therefore not harming the db in any way.
File size could still be kept the same, 100kb is fine, always has been.
