Thread: PCI Graphic cards.

  1. #1
    Hi,

I have a dell 2400 that that stupid thing only has an onboard Intel Graphic card. So can anyone recommend me a good graphic card. I want one which will be able to support GTA SA.

Most will support GTA SA as its still running a GTA3 engine which only neededd 156mb graphics card. if all you want it for is GTA SA your on board should just about cut it.

    ok

anything newer than a geforce 4 mx440 will run gta san andreas quite well.

But something better like a 9600 or 5700 would run it really smooth

Both my on board 32mb and geforce 4mx play Vice City with draw distance up to the highest on 1024*768 perfectly. And tyo me on he PS2 SA looks worse than vice city graphically.

No i was playing GTA SA round my friends house and he said i looking shyte so we compared VC on PS2 to SA on PS2 and SA looked worse with no AA at all. So the pc conversion even if they make it look beter will still need about the same as Vice Vity maybe just a bit more ram to load up the city;'sl

i heard that dell has some hardware locks on its comps...... so that only dell aproved (read: over-expensive dell shit) will work......

dunno if thats true with video card as well though......
