PSP vs DS

I'm surprised there isn't a thread about this already.

Which do you prefer: PSP or DS?

And as a mini-question

Which are you going to get?

Personally i'm obsessed with the PSP with now. The DS, while it's innovative, the second screen doesn't seem to benefit it much. The only real things i've seen it do is show a map (which you can just easily press start and show one) and act as a steering wheel.

I prefer the PSP and I'm gonna get the PSP. I love the graphics of it and how it is just as powerful as the PS2 (I would LOVE to see GTA: San Andreas on it). Can't wait till its out.
EDIT: I also like the look of the PSP much more than the DS and it will probably have better games than the DS on it.

PSP will be better, but i am getting them both because they both come out differant times. PSP is going to beat the DS becuase it can play movies, and the graphics are better. DS will have more games, but the games arnt that good.

I might get the DS when it goes down in price or something, but so far i'm not entirely impressed with the launch titles. Some of them sound absolute wank (Egg Monster Hunter or something like that: WTF) and IMO it doesn't look half as good as the PSP looks.

They'd have to come up with something truly fun and innovative for me to bother buying any console.

I really only want the DS for Sonic DS, and the Metroid game. PSP isnt expensive at all, well worth the price. It will be awhile before it drops in price, so why wait just get it now.

PSP is gonna fail. Is TOO good. Makers arn't gonna want to make a game and spend 8 months on it and make i for a system that has very little cusomers and is very new becuase they could mke the same game in the same ammount of time for the PS2 which lreayd has millions of users. DS will be shit as well, tacky shit from nintendo.

I'm not going to get either, but if I had to choose, I'd get the DS, the online, wireless multiplayer for just about every game sounds kickass. And the PSP will break on you in a matter of days, for christs sake it's from Sony.
