    Yup I did my 730 the same way I had to buy the serial cable and I bought the Software which I wish I could have got past which I probably could have but its all good in the long run I can convert any .mp3 i have to .wav and put it on my phone.
    Gre1, which software did you use (mobile phone tools 2?) I have the motorla 731 and have been trying to do that for a LONG time, but nobody seems to know how. Can you offer any tips?

    my motorola v505 has to be a .midi file to be a ringtone. I can put the .wav files on my phone but it it will only play as a sound. How do I change the .wav format to a .midi? (and it still sound the same) Can I not just change the .ext..........

    oh...I did find a good working version of mobile phone tools....
