very good finds lads, to bad i dished my recordplayer and all the old albums.
I guess i was going to playy all the records backwards to find more
I came across that reversespeech.com website yesterday and then spent the next 6 hours reading all I could find about the subject. Its real interesting stuff.
I'm not totally convinced that unconsious reverse speech exists (for example: when a normal conversation is recorded and then played backwards to hear hidden meaning behind the words) its possible that the script that goes with most examples avalible to download prompts the brain to make sense of the "jibberish" of speech played backwards. As in the Stairway to Heaven example I posted eariler.
Maybe some of yous would like to try this quick experiment. (Does not involve anything satanic!)
The following comes from a News report covering the 1937 Hindenburg disaster. (All downloads* are in mp3 and less than 65KB each)
This is the soundbite forwards, listen first.
This is the soundbite in reverse at full speed. If you can make out a sentence please post what it is before continuing to the next clip.
This is the soundbite played at various speeds with just the sentence that is meant to be audible.
Obviously if you have heard the clip before please post your input. I'm using this clip because it is the one I found to be easiest to hear without prompting and the filename does'nt give it away.
It should be interesting to see the results of this simple experiment and if you can hear what you're "meant" to hear, its pretty mindblowing.
*Downloads linked from backwardmessages.com and are freely avalible from the site.
