this thread reminds me of the giant ball of wax i had stuck in my ear for years. one day i was poking around inside my head with a small metal object and managed to dislodge it. over the next two days i could feel it rolling around inside my head. it started to bother me so i jabbed it some more until it plopped out of my ear on to the table with a (now clearly) audible thud. It was about the size of a thinger nail and as thick as my ear canal. It was a very dark brown, like a big lump of wax and clotted blood congealed in to a raisin Poppet shaped brain egg.

Apparently i have very dry wax, a smaller, and less gross, lump dropped out of my head the other day
