Can I change a BT Tracker?

Im in the midle of a download, and Im using Azureus,
it displays ¨conection error¨, I went to the tracker site and its off...
(still its downloading but at a very slow speed)

is there something I can do, can I change tracker or find a new tracker even if my download is not completed?

If you can find another tracker with exactly the same file then the answer is yes, if it's a new file then I doubt you'll find it though.

Mind you, have found a tv show file on elite that was the same as the one on tvtorrents and the speed was twice as quick on elite.

Doesn't happen that often to me though!
