Is it possible to put an original PS2 game into my DVD drive, a DVD Blank in my writer and just say Copy with Nero? Or do I have to first rip the image and burn that?

Are there any PS2 games that are larger than 4.8Gb?

Yes however DVD5 are only 4.5gb so why would you want to know if they are bigger than 4.8gb?

    Oops... Thought they we're 4.8

So is it not possible to make a direct copy? I HAVE to burn the ripped image? I have a Alcohol120... Never used it though, and there's a Make Image option and a Copy Wizard option... Can't I just use the copy wizard?

Also, is it really important that I set the datatype to PS2?

Is DaemonTools and Alc. the same basically?

erm, Make Image basically make an image into ur hard disk. U burn the image to dvd on ur own.
Copy Wizard on the other hand, makes an image into ur hard disk, and then burn it into the dvd for u. After that, it will delete that image from ur hard disk (unless u specifically says No).
obviously, u can just use Copy Wizard right away.

i'm not sure about those copy protections in PS2 games, so be careful when ur trying to backup ur game. Use a dvdrw if possible.
