i jus received my dvd burner and i cant seem to get the Power Cable out the old drive.
ive pulled as hard as i can and it still wont come out

i need help real quick

what do i do to get the Power Cable out

Isnt there the Clips you need to squueze?

Use some pliers gently, if them clipcs are stuck.

no theres no clips and if there is any clips i sure dont see them

Then, use some Knife or something hard'n'sharp to get between the Connector
and the HDD slot, try to easy it up carefully from side to side.

They can be rather tiiiight sometimes.

Those plugs can be bastards to get off sometimes, so persevers with your wiggling.
Don't use a knife ir sharp object inside your computer, especially if you haven't unplugged it!

oh yes finally i got it it sure was a bitch and i wasted about a hour trying to put the front tray from my dvd player on my new dvd burner but i couldnt get it out and i was so pissed so i jus gave up


so if anybody knows how to remove the cd tray cover thingy can u guys plz let me know

Cd tray cover ? Didn't your new dvd drive have one? Or are you trying to change colors ?
