I was running 'Ad-Aware se' and saw the there was a tab called 'negligible objects' in the scanning results window. I didn't know what it was so I clicked onit and saw 38 things. They are all called 'MRU List' and their descriptions make them sound like log files

Should I delete these or what? What do you all know about them?

MRU = Most Recently Used. So every time you start a program and so on, there will be a log written or a registrykey value created. That's what the tab in AdAware SE shows in the Negligible Objects. It should be safe to delete them, but read them before you do incase you want to keep some of those for later use (stored passwords eg).
