    i have a TI-83 Plus without a manual. i have some questions.

    1) how do i reset the calculator?

    2) how do i get games on the calculator and is there anything extra i need besides the calculator itself to do this (cords, etc)?

    3) is there a site that has the complete manual .pdf for free?

    thanks

    1. Reset the memory on your calculator by pressing "2nd" then "MEM" which is the + key. Then choose "RESET" which is 7 by scrolling down or clicking the 7 key.

    2. Choose 1, All RAM then 2, RESET on the next screen. A warning will be displayed that says, "Resetting RAM erases all data and programs from RAM."

    3. A screen will be displayed that says "RAM cleared." Press "ENTER" and the word "DONE" will appear on the screen.

How else would you get softwae onto a calculator without a way of transfering it? If it was inferred you would need infered, if it was cable you would need cable...

u need the usb cable. you'll have to purchase it.

it's the first one on the list. You'll also need to download the ti-connect software - it's available on their site.

hehe...that wasn't there yesterday...teh black usb cable. Yes, you need the second one down. You don't need a specific app that plays games, you just need to dl some games.

Hit 2nd key then the "+" key then choose the second option down.
