    The benchies confirm my suspicion that the Via chipset outperforms the Nforce3 chip, but there's not much in it. Nforce4 may be a different story though.

    Did anyone notice the intel furnace puffing away in the background getting all hot and bothered but still not really able to keep up?

    i'm looking into getting a 939 pin mb along with a 939 cpu. let's hope i don't have to flash mb to get the 939 cpu to work...

    Yeah. I heard that this can be an issue. I think the best strategy is to be clear with your provider that you expect the BIOS to support your chip. Be sure to mention all this before the purchase.
