I was just wondering how someone can..

    1. Make the Status Bar appear in every window.

    2. When opening images in IE, have them at maximum size already, no expanding.

Do this EXACTLY and it should work. (running XP I assume)

Open IE window you want expand. Close all other IE windows. Click on the bottom right corner of the window you want to expand and drag it to the maximized position. While holding 'Ctrl', click 'File' > 'Exit'. Let go of 'Ctrl'. That should do it!

I dont want the windows expanded, I want the images at full size. Not so you have to hover over, and click the expand picture button.

for the status bar i think the concept of skizo's idea will work.

not sure about making teh pictures always expanded...it's a habit for me to click the image i see to make it bigger so i dont notice it.
