    As an aside, there is a new series just started over here called House M.D., about (of course) a doctor who is other than than conventional...

    In any case, I was extremely pleased to note the name of it's star-non other than Hugh Laurie himself, playing the part as only he could.

    I hope others on this side take proper note of his talent, and am wondering how long it'll be before they also take note of his origins.

    He was mostly green, though the girls we were with assured us he'd missed painting his butt cheeks.

    There was some fancy dress shenaghans (sp) going on in the pub last night. Met Elvis, some pixies, a pirate and all the other generic costumes you'd expect...
