I was watching this ameatur video. It was based around hacking.

What they did is they used picture in picture with tranparancy.

So you can run two seperate video tracks, but make one semi-transpart so you can look at both of them.

Then they went and added third and fourth tracks.

This movie was quite old too. Made in maybe 1997.

Now my question is, does anyone know of any programs that will support transparancy between video tracks?

I know Adobe Premier (I have 1.5 Pro) supports Picture in Picture but I never saw any option for transparancy (just other effects like solarize, etc.)

Does anyone know any software that can handle this?

Pro does support transparency, there is a red elastic band on each track, the lower this is, the more transparent the picture.

You can also goto effects -> Transparency Settings for Chroma Key and othe types of masking.
