Could someone please tell me how to do this? because my comp's been running like a slow ass peice of shit. I need to know what i need to do this, how to put all the files i wanna keep on where and just the basics so i dont fuck anything up ive got alot of stuff that was hard for me to find and would like to keep it. thx

just download partition magic and look around it's pretty self explanatory.

do the wizard and it says something along the lines of "Which files would you like to move to the new partition?" then you select a folder or files or whatever.

o ya, ill give it a whirl after im done dling hl2, but once i used that partition magic and it fucked my comp over, it wouldnt boot
