    i was wondering can u put o microsofts windows xp media centre edition 2005 onto a like a normal pc is it sumthin special or wat ?? thnaks

    yes you can install it on a 'normal' pc

    nothing unless you have the tv tuner and stuf fto take advantage of it.


    mainly it's just ease of use to use as a dvd player\recorder and all that.

    actually it's geared towards controlling all of your media, via a remote control. (assuming your mobo has that capability)

    i've just heard of an open-source(free) solution. you might want to read up on it...
