well, i wish someone had warned ME the first time i came across it in a chat room. i completely underestimated how bad it could possibly be, and was regretting it dearly. that's all i meant.

That poor little girl Hopefully in a few years there'll be the technological advances to do more reconstructive and plastic surgery to help her

My heart goes out to this little girl and her family. She seems to have such a loving family, that I believe they'll make the most out of it.

This is such a sad story, makes you appreciated that you have a normal life.

This is terrible
like someone stated earlier she is still a child and once she realizes her difference.....right know she is a happy child.

Interesting the way they filmed it - focusing on her body, for a long time hiding the face - which made the suspense and shock even worse.


The little girl does have a face - and nice that the title is not elephant-man-phreak style as people did in earlier times

so sad....I can't see how plastic surgery could ever make her 'normal'. She is gonna have it tough no matter how much her family support her. It just brings it home how lucky we 'normal' ones are....we have no cause for complaint about the occasional spot, scar or less than perfect body or face.

She will probably wear some sort of prosthethic face, or a mask to be simple. I saw a guy on tv once that caught some sort of flesh eating virus and it ate the center of his face and he used a mask type of thing.
